Celebrating I.M. Pei’s 96th Birthday
Today, famed architect I.M. Pei turns 96. Born in Guangzhou, China, Pei came to the United States in 1935 to pursue higher education. He graduated from MIT with his Bachelors in Architecture in 1940 and from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design in 1946.
Pei’s work is distinctly modernist with cubist tones and often features distinctive sweeping reflective glass facades. He is perhaps best known for the glass and steel pyramid at the Museé du Louvre in Paris, France—a controversial project completed in 1989 that has since become one of the most iconic modern buildings in France.

My phone broke on friday night, and I was beyond traumatized/ I couldn;t receive e-mails, txt msgs, facebook or Twitter updates for 2 and a half days!!!! I was so… bored. But then I realized that I have become to caught up w/ technology and the internet, that I haven’t been out in the “real world” and meet people face to face in a while. My life revolves around my kids, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. So I decided that the weekends their not w/ daddy… I need to set my phone on silent to avoid interrupting my fun time w/ My Babes. WILL YOU DO THE SAME AND SEE HOW IT FEELS TO BE OUTTA TOUCH FOR A BIT?
I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again… Potty Training ain’t easy! Now they say… (other parents) pottying training boys is more difficult than girls, I believe that is sOo untrue! I really think it has to do w/ the birth order of the child your attempting to potty train. My “baby” boy isn’t interested in potty training, and becoming a big boy. He could careless about getting M&M’s for a treat, when he can grab a chair, stand on top of it, and get the bag all by himself! Potty Training Round number #4… not a success, yet!
